This week ushers in the start of a new month - hello April! This also means that it’s officially National Poetry Month, and we'll be celebrating by bringing you several poetry-related links this week and in the weeks to come.

Our very own Puterbaugh Festival of International Literature kicks off next Tuesday in Norman, Oklahoma. Ethiopian writer Maaza Mengiste is the 2013 Puterbaugh Fellow, and internationally-renowned photographer Phil Borges will also be visiting to tie in this year's theme of literature and photography that illuminate women's empowerment around the world.
