Ilya Kaminsky is the author of Dancing in Odessa (Tupelo) and Deaf Republic (Graywolf). He was a finalist for the National Book Award and won the Los Angeles Times Book Award. He is the translator and editor of many other books.

Katie Farris is the author of Standing in the Forest of Being Alive (Alice James Books, 2023) and A Net to Catch My Body in Its Weaving, which was published by Beloit Poetry Journal as the winner of its Chad Walsh Award. Her earlier book, Boysgirls, was published by Tupelo Press. She has received Pushcart Prizes, and her new writing appears in The Nation, Poetry, American Poetry Review, and elsewhere.
